TESDA CERTIFIED
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Performing general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
  • Following Electrical Code and local building regulations.
  • Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Completed a two-year vocational course in electrical technology.
    • Certified by the Technical Skills and Development Agency (TESDA).Ability to run conduit.

    • Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
    • Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled professionals, designers, and clients.
    • Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.
    • Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
    • Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
    • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
    • Knows Basic First Aid.
