Qualifications / Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
Vocational or technical training in machining, mechanical technology, or a related field (preferred).
Completion of an apprenticeship program (optional but advantageous).
NC II Certificate in Machining from TESDA or equivalent (Philippines-specific).
Skills & Competency Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in using manual and CNC machines (lathe, milling, grinding, etc.).
Knowledge of machine tools, cutting tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Understanding of shop mathematics and precision measurement.
Familiarity with safety procedures and proper machine operation.
Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus.
