Job Description
  • Supervising the Transport and Distribution /Logistics Operations in the assigned area, ensuring complete accuracy and in the most time-efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Taking the lead in ensuring that excellent distribution services are being provided to the customers.
  • Plans shipments and deliveries, thereby ensuring optimum utilization of time, vehicle space, and route.
  • Ensures 100% accuracy of Logistics Operations from documentation to actual deliveries and guarantees 100% DIFOT (Delivery In-Full/ On-Time) is achieved in each shipment or delivery transaction
  • 3PL Accreditation and Services Assessment
  • Reviews monthly invoice monitoring report and complete transmittal of the consolidated blue copy of Charge Invoice to Credit & Collection Department
  • Prepares written formalities for the request of additional personnel (contractual or regular) under his/her department, as approved by the Department Manager.
  • Collaborates with the HRD Performance Management Section in conducting a job analysis to clearly define the essential functions, competencies, and requirements of the job, as well as considering the required knowledge, skills, and attitude.
  • Evaluates and appraises personnel's work performance according to set standards and criteria and discusses key areas of improvement with the said personnel; recommends promotion, demotion, or termination of appraised personnel.
  • Reviews and endorses or approves applicable accounting (PCV, PRF, other reimbursements) and timekeeping (attendance, Application for Leave, Missed Punch "In"/"Out" Certification, Overtime, Undertime, etc.) files of direct reports and/or indirect reports
  • Ensures that supervised staff members are adequately trained and identifies training needs, with the Human Resources department, to achieve high working standards; and motivates subordinates to make use of their full potential.
  • Fosters and maintains healthy employee relationships within the department and outside the area of responsibility, and initiates proper and fair discipline among subordinates.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Business Administration, Customs, or any related courses
  • With experience in handling people
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Willing to work in Palawan
