  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing waste.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and services within budget and quality requirements.
  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation processes.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost and service efficiency.
  • Implement and manage inventory tracking systems to reduce discrepancies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive supply chain operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. At least have 15 years’ experience of shipbuilding.
2. Supervise and coordinate daily supply chain operations, including procurement and logistics.
3. Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
5. Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
6. Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
7. Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals.
8. Preferably can communicate both English and Chinese.
