Power Associate (Telco)


We are seeking a diligent Power Warehouse Associate to join our team and play a crucial role in receiving and reviewing power equipment deliveries at our warehouse. The ideal candidate will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient handling and inspection of power equipment shipments and deliveries at our warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations. 



Key Responsibilities:

o Collaborate with the warehouse team to receive and review incoming power equipment deliveries.

o Work closely with delivery personnel to ensure the accurate and timely receipt of power equipment shipments.

o Conduct thorough inspections of incoming power equipment, checking for quality, completeness, and compliance with specifications.

o Support in Power related POCs conducted in the warehouse prior to field deployment.

o Communicate any discrepancies or issues identified during the inspection process to the appropriate stakeholders for resolution.

o Maintain accurate records of received power equipment, including tracking shipment details and updating inventory systems.

o Assist in the packaging, labeling, and preparation of power equipment for storage or distribution as needed.

o Optimize power spares from returned equipment received from sites, identifying usable components and integrating them into our stock/inventory for streamlined access and identification.

o Conduct testing and categorize received power equipment, such as VRLA batteries, Diesel generators, and AC Panel sets, based on their useful life, ensuring proper arrangement and prioritization for efficient utilization and maintenance planning.

o Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling power equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

o Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements in warehouse operations.

 o Support other warehouse activities and initiatives as assigned by management.  

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
 o Certification or diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Radio or related field preferred.
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in power management or a related field, with proven experience in managing warehouse inventory.
o Strong understanding of power systems and warehouse management principles.
o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
o Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to power systems.
o Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory management systems or software.
