Location: Can be assigned to Makati, Paranaque, Bacoor, Los Banos, San Pablo, Pasig

Reporting To: Head Chef / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:
The Kitchen Supervisor oversees daily kitchen operations in a busy Indian restaurant, ensuring food is prepared to authentic standards, hygiene protocols are strictly followed, and kitchen staff operate efficiently. The role involves managing kitchen inventory, supervising food prep and cooking, maintaining quality control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff including cooks, kitchen helpers, and dishwashers.

Ensure preparation of authentic Indian dishes according to standardized recipes and customer specifications.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in accordance with local food safety and sanitation regulations (DOH, LGU guidelines).

Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards and consistency.

Plan and coordinate daily kitchen operations, food prep schedules, and station assignments.

Manage kitchen inventory and supplies; ensure timely ordering and minimize wastage.

Train new kitchen staff and conduct routine performance evaluations.

Work with the Head Chef or management to plan seasonal menus and special offerings.

Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Address any kitchen issues promptly, including equipment maintenance and staff concerns.



Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Senior Cook, or Sous Chef (preferably in Indian or Asian cuisine).
Knowledge of authentic Indian cooking techniques and ingredients (e.g., tandoori, curry, masala blends).
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Familiarity with Philippine food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Culinary diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
Work Environment:
Restaurant-based kitchen environment with exposure to heat, sharp tools, and fast-paced operations.
Rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday work required.
