A Utility Kitchen Helper has a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
  • Assists kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness, including dishwashing and adherence to sanitation standards.
  • Provides support with basic food preparation tasks as directed.
  • Properly disposes of waste and ensures a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stores kitchen tools and equipment appropriately to maintain efficiency and safety.
  • Supports cooks and chefs with various kitchen tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other functions and duties that may be required from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • No formal education required; prior experience in a kitchen setting is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
