GALLEY STEWARD

  • Wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and all other galley utensils
  • Operate various cleaning equipment; clean all kitchen equipment and machines
  • Handle and dispose of chemicals and food waste
  • Follow opening and closing procedures for all kitchen and production areas
  • Responsible for accurate garbage separation and recycling
  • Ensure Disney Cruise Line and USPH Sanitation requirements are met in his / her area of
    responsibility

    May be assigned to:
    • Dish wash area
    • Pot wash area
    • Night Shift

Qualifications/Requirements

•Previous experience in a high volume/ fast passed environment
•Receptive to working long hours in a damp, humid area which can get very dirty and be very
busy
•Ability to lift and move industrial size cooking equipment
•Ship experience
•Previous experience as a Galley Steward or in a highly physical job
