Job Description

• Escalate issues/risks to the manager when necessary.
• Ensure appropriate consideration is given to testing, security, stability, reliability, and monitoring (to meet the team’s definition of done).
• Drive technical decisions and direction within the team and across platforms.
• Challenge the team to align implementations with engineering target state.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of the team’s products/platforms.
• Continuously improve engineering practices.
• Reduce team distractions to improve efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a relevant degree or field.
• Strong Java and microservice experience.
• Exposure to large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS (or other cloud technologies).
• Ability to automate manual processes to drive efficiency.
• Experience with Gen AI a distinct advantage
• Experience working with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence etc.) is a plus
• Experience in Monitoring and Observability (Grafana, Splunk) a plus.
