A Cleaner has a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchen, and staff areas.
  • Wipe down tables, chairs, counters, and other surfaces.
  • Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in a timely manner.
  • Assist with setting up or cleaning before and after opening/closing shifts.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the management immediately.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • No formal education required; prior experience in a kitchen setting is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
