As an inventory clerk, it is your job to track the flow of products, equipment, and other supplies in a business. You work in a stockroom, warehouse, or factory. Your duties are to manage records, create sales reports, stock showroom floors and store shelves, and ensure the quality of merchandise. Additional responsibilities may include receiving and processing shipments. The job requires strong clerical, analytical, and organizational skills. Other qualifications are great communication and collaboration skills, as you regularly interact with other clerks, vendors, and sometimes customers. Some experience in the specific industry is preferred.
