OFFICIAL TITLE:  UNIT HEAD

Responsible for overseeing and ensuring high quality and timely delivery of all projects of the unit and upkeep of the applications and platforms owned by the unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure full accountability to the quality delivery of applications and platforms

2. Manage the capacity plan and ensure appropriate level of staffing in each team

3. Share the delegated responsibility of the head, and own full accountability for delivery in the assigned unit

5. Ensure a good understanding of the key business unit strategic direction for the unit application and platform strategic decisions and alignment to BDO architecture

6. Manage all escalation from Business and other teams

7. Identify and optimize how resources can be leveraged across delivery teams within unit and potentially across

Qualifications/Requirements

Education Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Work Experience - At least 15+ years of application delivery experience in financial services, 10+ years specialization in focus areas of the unit
- Experience managing 3rd party system implementor and evaluating and managing software vendor
Skills - Leadership skills in managing and mentoring, and capacity planning for medium-to-large scale teams
- Proven ability to apply end-to-end project management and application delivery methodologies
- Integrate business strategies and trends in technology to deliver value
