Job Description

Job title: IT PMO Senior Advisor

• Project Management Support: Assist project managers and project teams in managing projects, including project planning, scheduling, resource management, risk management, and issue tracking.

• Process Development and Implementation: Develop, maintain, and enforce project management processes, methodologies, and standards to ensure projects are executed in alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.
• Governance and Oversight: Provide governance and oversight of project management activities across the organization, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and distribute project status reports, communicate with stakeholders, and facilitate project meetings to provide updates on project progress, issues, risks, and milestones.
• Resource Management: Coordinate resource allocation for projects, track resource utilization, and ensure that resources are effectively utilized to meet project objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate project risks, and develop risk management strategies to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes.
• Quality Management: Establish and monitor quality standards for project deliverables, oversee quality assurance and quality control activities, and ensure that projects meet defined quality criteria.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of project delivery.
• Performance Measurement and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance, analyze project data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure that contracted services are delivered in accordance with agreed-upon requirements, schedules, and budgets.
• Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of project budgets, track project expenditures, and ensure that projects are delivered within approved budgets.
• Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other relevant records, and ensure that knowledge and lessons learned are captured and shared across the organization.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications Engineering or equivalent, Master's degree preferred, with at least 5 years of telecom operator experience.
• At least 3 years management experience;
• Strong background in information technology with knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes, understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to IT project management.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance and advisory support to project managers, project teams, and stakeholders, experience in assessing project management practices, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions.
• Consultative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Presentation skills to deliver insights, recommendations, and reports to stakeholders, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
• Data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop recommendations for addressing project issues and challenges.
• Leadership qualities to influence and guide project teams towards achieving project objectives, collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Fluent in multiple languages, both written and spoken
