Position Title: RF Optimization Consultant
Job Description
• Experience in optimization No. of Site’s to meet a set of KPI’s.
• Monitoring 3G Site KPI Statistic including Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, and Integrity
• Analysis done on daily basis to improve/escalate degraded issues.
• Soft optimization- NBR addition/deletion, PSC changes.
• Drive Test KPIs Optimization, Call Drops, Call Setup Failures, Handover Failures, Missing
Neighbors and one-way neighbor optimization
• 3G Parameters monitoring like RSSI, Ec/No, RSCP, Tx Power, Handovers.
• RF Optimization – Azimuths and Tilts Optimization, KPIs Monitoring and Reporting after implementation
• Optimization analysis result drive test from NEMO Analyzer & Investigate for optimization
(CSSR AMR & PS, CDR AMR & PS, Cong, cell re-selection, IRAT, support event pre- launch, launch, post-launch and recommending changes to fixing those problems such as cell- reselect 3G to 2G ,IRAT, pilot pollution, best Active cell improvement throughput, 3G to 2G & 2G to 3G hand over.
• To maintain the 3G KPI’s up to the desired level. Monitoring main KPI’s (RRC success rate and drops, RAB success rate and CS/PS drops, SHO and ISHO success rate, Iub Occupancy
• Regular drive testing to deeply analyze certain problematic areas identified through Statistical analysis & customer complaints and implementing Tilt/Height/azimuth changes on existing cells to optimize coverage and Quality.
• Performing parameter audit/neighbor audit of all cells and changing where necessary after analysis of traffic stats and drive test.
• Neighbor Tuning), 3G to 2G & 2G to 3G.
• Export CFGMML / Check RTWP
• Frequency planning for new sites and expansions on existing sites.
• Analysis of Various Events such as 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, 2d, 2f.
• Analyzing call drops/ failures of 3G using layer 3 messages and recommending necessary changes to improve these KPI’s.
• Network level Parameter tuning and Removal of discrepancies to improve the KPIs.
• Experience in Pre / Post processing tools i.e. eDat, Nemo Analyzer, Actix, Tems Discovery.
• Checking All the Database & Parameters during the SSV Like PSC (Primary Scrambling Code), LAC (Location Area Code), RAC (Routing Area Code), BLER (Block Error Rate), and
Frequency/Cell ID.
• Parametric and physical changes and reporting before and after implementation
• Preparation of SSV Reports According to Customer Requirement
