Qualifications/Requirements

A bachelor's degree in a related field, and relevant experience.

Experience in the specific design area (e.g., interior design, graphic design, web design) is often expected. 

A degree in a related field (e.g., graphic design, interior design, architecture) is often preferred, some employers may accept candidates with a portfolio demonstrating strong design skills.
