Typical Duties:
1. Performs a variety of specialized clerical duties in connection with personnel related matters.
2. Processes personnel transactions by gathering information, filling out and/or distributing forms and/or documents for new hires, certifications, separations, leaves of absence and other personnel matters.
3. Compiles and generates data for reports needed for payroll purposes
a. Computes employees’ withholding taxes
b. Prepares mandatory monthly government remittances (SSS, Philhealth, PAG-IBIG monthly contributions, monthly amortization of loans, etc.)
c. Files and processes loans of employees
d. Updates payments of all employees (SSS R3 and EPRS Reports)
4. Creates and updates personnel files, manually and/or electronically, regarding date hired, job description and other relevant information to ensure that accurate information is kept on employee status; update records to show changes in employee status, tax bracket and contact information.
5. Responds to inquiries made by phone or in person, with regard to various personnel matters, such as employee benefits, leaves of absence; and makes referrals as necessary.
6. Files personnel documents according to established departmental procedures by using alphabetical and chronological filing systems.
7. Checks the attendance of employees in the main office.
8. Performs other work-related tasks that may be assigned by superiors.
