Job Description

Job Summary: The HR Section head is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop talent, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Manager collaborates with senior management to support organizational goals and foster a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Planning:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

    • Analyze workforce trends and anticipate future talent needs to support business growth and expansion.

   • Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR-related matters.

2. Recruitment and Selection:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.

  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent and enhance employer branding.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.

3. Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.

  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution to maintain a positive work environment.

4. Performance Management:

  • Implement performance management systems and processes to set goals, provide feedback, and evaluate employee performance.

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance employee effectiveness.

  • Identify and address performance issues through counseling, disciplinary action, or performance improvement plans.

5. Training and Development:

  • Identify training and development needs based on organizational objectives and employee performance evaluations.

  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary planning, job evaluations, and benchmarking.

  • Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations, including minimum wage requirements and pay equity.

  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits packages to remain competitive in the market.

7. HR Administration:

  • Manage HR administration tasks, including employee records management, payroll processing, and HRIS maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.

  • Prepare and distribute HR-related reports and metrics to support decision-making and regulatory requirements.

8. Employee Engagement and Culture:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Foster a positive work culture that values diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.

  • Organize employee events, recognition programs, and communication channels to promote a sense of belonging and teamwork.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • with valuable work experience in the same field
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
