Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Minimum two (2) years of Housekeeping work experience in a Supervisory role in a comparable premium hospitality environment.
Previous Cruise ship experience is strongly recommended.
Must have a complete understanding of Public Health and Environmental requirements relating to the servicing of public areas.
Solid supervisory skills and ability to support, train and mentor junior staff.
Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.
Conversational Japanese language skills.
Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests.
Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
Ability to continuously surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience.
Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
For Japanese Speaking crew: candidate who can converse well in Nihonggo. Candidates who previously worked or stayed in Japan are also encouraged to apply.
