Role Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the daily shift operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with established standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead a team of housekeepers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping team, assigning duties, and ensuring they adhere to cleaning standards and schedules.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure sufficient stock levels.
- Ensure knowledge and utilization of property procurement application e.g. SCM, Fidelio PSC, etc.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
- Address guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Assists in the development of the housekeeping department budget and managing expenses within budgetary constraints.
- Enforce safety regulations and compliance with health and sanitation standards, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Liaise with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any issues that may arise.
- Provide training to new housekeeping team member on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of equipment and chemicals.
