• Hear the complaints and inquiries of the customer and should act on it accordingly.
• Be friendly to customers.
• Should maintain inventories of supplies.
• Submits the payroll report to accounting.
• Maintains the cleanliness, scent, and coolness of the reception area.
• From time to time should inspect the inside of the hotel whether the linens, towels pillow cases, and others are clean. This should be done daily and with housekeeping in the area.
• Should follow-up requests to the main office.
• Shall direct the housekeeping/guard and or other personnel in the building on his/her job.
• Should religiously comply with waivers and checklists.
• Manages reservations
• Handles check-in and out procedures efficiently, especially on check-in and check-out time, key cards, and remote controls
• Maintains guest records and book reservations
• Assigns rooms to guests
• Maintain an orderly front desk
• Monitor and update guest accounts
• Provide an outstanding guest experience
• Resolves customer complaints
• Answers calls
• Knowledge of local attractions and events. Such as canyoneering, whale watching, fiestas, and the like
• Send messages to guests
• Book and schedule conference rooms. Inform them of the facilities such as laundry, massage, salon, coffee shop and grocery
• Complete basic cashiering and bookkeeping responsibilities
• Customer service and front desk operations
• Liaised with other departments in the hotel
• Operate the switchboard and direct calls appropriately
• Report any problems that may arise to the supervisor for proper action be it in the maintenance or others
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Lets customers/guests fill in comment slips to improve our service.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the management
• Shall maintain enough inventory on items needed in front-desk operations and submit inventory reports weekly.
