Job Description:
· MAJOR FUNCTION
Responsible for cleaning guestrooms and guest corridors thoroughly and efficiently and providing outstanding guest service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project courtesy, hospitality and professional behavior across your department at all times with guests and fellow colleagues.
2. Clean and inspect guest rooms according to daily cleaning assignments and established standards and procedures.
3. Ensure guest room corridors and guest rooms are properly cleaned and well-presented at all times.
4. Report damages or maintenance issues to your supervisor as required.
5. Report lost and found items to your supervisor as required.
6. Manage laundry and linens according to established standards and procedures.
7. Carry out ad hoc cleaning requests and special arrangements for guests as required.
8. Handle other occasional duties including Minibar service.
9. Be the first line of defense to handle guest queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
10. Monitor guest feedback and make recommendations for improvements or new products or services to meet guest needs.
11. Maintain a complete understanding of the Employee Handbook and adhere to regulations contained therein.
12. Maintain a complete understanding of the Hotel’s policy relating to fire, safety and health, and ensure all precautions are taken to safeguard against incidents for areas under your supervision,
13. Perform other assignments to meet business needs as directed by your superiors.
