Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy plant equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Replace or repair faulty components and systems as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment performance.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other staff.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A Vocational course graduate in automotive or any related course.
  • Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • • A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
  • Capacity to provide and follow direction.
  • Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
  • Ability to work extended hours, as required.
  • Knowledge in Heavy Equipment such as mobile cranes and 10-wheeler boom trucks. Certified Plant Mechanic.
