  • Graphic Designers use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) to edit and enhance images, retouch, and manipulate images to meet design requirements.
  • They also design layouts for various print materials, such as brochures, flyers, posters, and business cards, ensuring designs are print-ready and meet the specifications of printing processes.
  • Web and Digital Design:
    • Graphic Designers create visually engaging designs for websites, social media, and online advertising. They understand web design principles, user experience (UX), and responsive design.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Design skills and knowledge.
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of media production and communication.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of the fine arts.
  • The ability to come up with new ways of doing things.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
