Job Description

This role is responsible for partnering with the onshore IT leaders to ensure close alignment in IT strategy and execution. The position will lead a team of 10-12 operations directors and 700 employees in Manila across all areas of IT to improve operational excellence, productivity and efficiency ensuring the availability and integrity for all IT systems as well as delivering on business priorities.

• 10 years’ management experience in technology and operations with a minimum of 5 years proven senior management experience in large technology operations environments.
• Ability to conceptualize, articulate and implement plans for transformation down to tactical levels.
• 5 years working in with offshore technology or service organizations.
• Ability to deliver results that align with the company business objectives.
• Strong ability to create, build and leverage relationships and effectively interface with executive-level team members and at the same time have willingness to roll up the sleeves to solve problems
• Successful track record in leading and inspiring large teams.
• Highly developed analytical thinking and problem-solving ability particularly with solving operational issues.
• Strong track record at solving operational problems and continuous process improvement
• Strong administrative skillset
• Experience in developing and managing large scale IT operating and capital budgets.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and the needs of multiple stakeholders while maintaining strong executive level partnerships.
• Effective time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• International Travel Requirements: 10-20%.
• Strong ability for delivering operational excellence

• Deep understanding on how to optimize teams to meet the ever-growing demands of a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally with matrixed and distributed teams to deliver results

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operations
• Lead the Manila offshore IT center to ensure 24/7 efficient, dependable and effective IT support operation.
• Develop strategic plans for optimizing operations, formulate policies, manage operational costs and ensure reliable and strong service.
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans and strategies to ensure continuous operational support to the business.

Administration
•Oversee daily business activities, formulate and manage financial and capital budgets and track financial activity.
• Serve as Treasurer and Director of the Philippine entity. Attend meetings of the company’s Board of Directors, provide updates to the Board such as capital spending, funding appropriations.
Perform other duties for the Board as may be required business challenges in a creative manner and innovating new approaches where required.
• Ensure financial and accounting compliance with policies and applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Review, approve and sign the company’s financial statements, and ensure its timely submission to the appropriate government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local technology vendors, government bodies, legal firms, chamber of commerce and other entities to ensure a stable organizational entity and community engagement.
• Negotiate and manage company contracts for Health Care, Facilities and Managed Services.

IT Service Delivery
•Collaborate and partner with the onshore leadership team to drive strategies that provide agile, dependable and cost-effective solutions in a matrixed organization for all onshore entities.
•Drive efficiency and optimization in the L1, L2, L3 global delivery model that helps deliver world class customer experiences at an optimized “cost to serve.”

People Strategies
•Drive development of policies, procedures and strategies to build attract and retain a highly engaged and skilled workforce and a high-performance culture.
•Build operational excellence and continuous improvement culture into the DNA of the organization
•Build leadership bench strength for a talent pipeline.
