The Front Office Associate (FOA) serves as the first point of contact for all guests. He/She is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring a smooth flow of front desk operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly and efficient check-in/check-out process.
2. Handle reservations, room assignments, and cancellations accurately.
3. Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries from guests or internal departments.
4. Provide information about hotel services, room rates, amenities, and local attractions.
5. Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
6. Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
7. Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
9.Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
