Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Payroll Analyst located in Makati City, Philippines.
As a Payroll Analyst, your responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Recommends and implements changes or enhancements to established payroll controls or processes.
- Analyzes and resolves processing problems or issues preventing the loading of inbound TIPS files. Coordinates the loading and tracing of files from customers.
- Coordinates Earned Income Worksheet (EIW) balancing during the year-end period. Assists PR Reps to identify and resolve balancing issues.
- Resolves the more complex payroll-related issues with little or no guidance. Works directly with HRSAP System Support to understand/resolve/test system fixes.
- Tracks, analyze and process adjustments to correct out-of-balance claim (overpayment/underpayment) situations.
- Monitors third-party inbound files for drop outs and/or data problems. Analyzes and takes corrective action, if necessary. Extracts Expatriate data from SAP to create monthly outbound ZIP files to customers.
- Works directly with Field Reps (Time Administrators, HR representatives, etc.) to understand/resolve payroll-related business process issues.
- Assists Payroll Representatives and Payroll Specialists to interpret company policy, FLSA or state labor law regulations, union contract stipulations, etc.
- Works with third-party vendor to execute pre-DME (Data Medium Exchange) activities after each payroll exit.
- Appropriate handling of sensitive personal data. Payroll Processing involves stewardship of highly sensitive employee information and therefore requires strict adherence to Policy 575 (information protection) guidelines.
- Participate on special projects to continuously simplify and improve work processes.
