GROUP CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
1 Vacancy

  • As a member of the senior leadership team, jointly responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction of the Company.
  • Works closely with business leaders to develop new products and revenue streams. Provides guidance and direction on crafting business cases with optimal unit economics and product launches to enhance ecosystem synergy.
  • Continuously improves, develops, and executes the overall financial, accounting and reporting plans designed to complement short and long-term business objectives.
  • Responsible for the execution of financial services to achieve financial reporting objectives, including process and quality indicators, compliance and regulatory requirements. Leads the strategic management of the Company's cash and treasury functions.
  • Manages the financial and institutional relationships with the Company's investors and shareholders.
  • Represents the Company in relevant associations, trade and commercial organizations, trade delegations, charities and public organizations which will enhance the prestige and recognition of the Company.
  • Any other roles and responsibilities as may be assigned by your manager from time to time or as the exigencies of the business may require.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Possess a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (BSC)
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in financial strategy, planning, and management, including at least 2 years in a senior executive role within multinational corporations.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Must have prior work experience in a banking or financial institution in China, with demonstrated understanding of the Chinese financial regulatory landscape and business culture.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, product development, and investor relations within a complex, global business ecosystem.
  • In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), treasury management, and cross-border regulatory compliance.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience representing organizations in international trade associations, delegations, and forums.
