Job Description

Job title: Senior Finance Business Advisor

• Assist in conducting comprehensive financial analysis of international operations, considering factors such as currency exchange rates, regulatory environments, and market trends.

• Support in preparing and presenting consolidated financial reports for senior management, providing insights into the financial performance of various regions and business units.

• Aid in analyzing and interpreting variances in financial results across different geographies, identifying opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.

• Collaborate with finance teams to develop strategic financial plans that align with global business objectives and local market dynamics.

• Provide expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to optimize resource allocation and maximize profitability.

• Offer guidance in evaluating the financial impact of global expansion initiatives, including market entry strategies, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

• Serve as a liaison between headquarters and international subsidiaries, offering financial guidance and support to local management teams.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams across different regions to evaluate business opportunities, assess financial risks, and develop actionable recommendations.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice exchange among international finance teams to drive continuous improvement and standardization.

• Monitor and assess financial risks associated with international operations, including foreign exchange risk, regulatory compliance, and geopolitical factors.

• Assist in developing strategies to mitigate international financial risks while ensuring adherence to local regulations and accounting standards.

• Conduct periodic reviews of internal controls and processes to enhance financial governance and compliance across global operations.

• Stay updated on global economic trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies impacting international finance.

• Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes, streamline reporting mechanisms, and enhance efficiency in cross-border transactions.

• Lead initiatives to implement innovative financial solutions and leverage technology to drive value creation in international finance operations.

• Trains two (2) Filipino Understudies relative to the above functions.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, International Business, or related field
  • Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  •  Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in international finance, with a strong background in financial analysis, strategic planning, and business advisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), taxation, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools with experience in managing multi-currency transactions and consolidations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Fluent in multiple languages, both written and spoken
  • Strategic mindset with a global perspective, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a track record of driving results in an international context.
