• Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the Hotel, including recording, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, statutory reports, and analysis of financial transactions;
• Establish and maintain checks and balances as well as rigorous control measures to safeguard the integrity of financial data and processes;
• Establish effective monitoring and reporting of revenue and expense – both fixed and variable;
• Establish policies and procedures especially on internal controls.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports, compliance with all regulatory requirements with full observance of accounting standards and company policies;
• Work with HR on optimization and monitoring of labor cost;
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Establish and maintain accounts with banks and pay facility partners;
• Ensure accuracy of billings and correctness of refunds, if applicable;
• Monitor purchasing activities as well as accuracy of vendors contract;
• Work with departments on costs effectiveness without sacrificing quality and service;
• Monitor budgets, forecast and trends in revenue and expenses and notify management on any foreseen financial effect;
• Daily monitor and dashboard report to management on the following:
o Average Daily Rate (ADR)
o Revenue per available room (RevPAR)
o Gross operating profit per available room (GOPPAR)
o Labor cost to total revenue ratio
• Leverage your tech-savvy skills to manage and optimize hotel software systems, particularly the financial and operational software
• Oversee, manage and audit the procurement efforts of the Purchasing Officer
• Work closely with property operations to provide financial insights and support, ensuring alignment with operational goals and financial strategies;
