Job Description

  • Inspect internal farms poultry houses and facilities and ensure that houses are adequately repaired, cleaned and disinfected prior to DOC placement and that facilities and equipment are in good order and condition and within company prescribed ratios and standards
  • Confirm schedule of DOC placements with the planning or authorized representative, attest chick delivery at the farm and sees to it that proper brooding procedures are strictly followed by farm personnel
  • Monitor performance of flock and adherence of farm personnel to standard farm/flock management practices
  • Recommend correct measures on feeding and watering programs, sanitation, re-penning and other flock management practices when actual weekly flock efficiency parameters such as weight gain, depletion and FCR below standard
  • Monitor feed inventory level at the farm and coordinates delivery schedules with concerned sections to ensure sufficiency of feeds supply
  • Request vaccines and medicines and see to it that vaccines are properly administered and recommended doses are strictly followed
  • Submit sample weighing data sheet at least one week prior to harvest date and recommends desired harvest schedule of flocks
  • Render status report of the flocks within area of responsibility during regular weekly meetings and immediately informs to CG Vet/CG Supervisor about problems encountered during farm visits for prompt action; participates actively in quality circle meetings and other productivity related meetings convened by management
  • Confirm final schedule of harvest Hauling Planner or authorized representatives and monitors final flock weight and uniformity at dressing plant level to counter check accuracy of sample weighing data
  • Attest to the number of reported runts/left over birds or feeds at the farm and accounts all recorded mortalities
  • Submit all data necessary for the computation of incentives fee not later than one week after clean-up harvested
  • Coordinate with concerned section regarding the transfer/retrieval of left over feeds at the farm immediately after harvest
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities such as electrical work related matters or as  may be required by the President, General Manager and Operations Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Graduate of B.S. Agriculture major in Animal Science
  • Male.
  • Knowledgeable in poultry operations.
  • Willing to be assign on field.
  • Willing to stay-in
  • Good in both oral & written communication.
  • Computer literate.
  • With Electrical related experience
  • Team Player, Result Oriented & Trustworthy.
  • Can work under pressure and with less Supervision.
  • Possesses good moral character.
