  • To plan, promote and manage implementation of Multi-Franchise Strategy in Philippines mainly through business collaboration with local bank
  • Support SMBC Manila Branch's Japanese and local corporate business, as part of business collaboration with RCBC
  • Study the market for further implementation opportunities of the strategy
  • Provide effective support to the Head of Asia Growing Markets Department in attaining the overall strategy
  • Understand the compliance requirements associated with the business activities of the Bank to ensure that the Bank remains compliant with its obligations
  • Ensure compliance with these requirements on a day-to-day basis and to act ethically and with integrity, fairness and professionalism
  • Perform the assigned compliance risk function effectively and in a timely manner, whether as first of second line of defense - identifying and evaluating, controlling, monitoring, and reporting compliance risks

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Has more than 20 years of banking experience
  • Has expertise in product creation and setting up new businesses in the financial industry 
  • Has extensive experience in marketing
  • Has proven track record and demonstrated skills in business development and relationship management
  • Proficient in Japanese language (Business level)
