Job Description:
1. Lead the preparation and implementation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE), and Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
2. Manage and oversee environmental compliance requirements for various infrastructure and development projects.
3. Ensure projects adhere to national (DENR, EMB, LLDA, etc.) and international environmental regulations (ADB, World Bank, IFC, etc.).
4. Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior environmental specialists and project staff.
5. Oversee Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) applications, permit processing, and securing regulatory approvals.
6. Ensure strict adherence to the Philippine Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) System and related national policies.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies (DENR, EMB, LGUs, etc.) for compliance matters.
8. Conduct environmental audits, due diligence assessments, and compliance monitoring for various projects.
9. Analyze environmental data, such as air and water quality assessments, ecological surveys, and climate resilience studies.
10. Recommend corrective measures for non-compliance cases and develop mitigation plans.
11. Lead public consultations, stakeholder engagements, and social acceptability assessments.
12. Integrate climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and resource efficiency into project planning.
