Job Description:
The Engineering Leader is a key role within our organization, contributing to and executing strategies in the team or organization. This role offers an opportunity for growth in a stable external business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to and execute strategies in the team or organization.
• Identify and lead developments of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products.
• Focus on one or more brands, channels, lines, categories, or team/organization with clearly defined objectives.
• Ensure strong collaborative relationships are nurtured within the team.
• Accomplish tasks as an individual contributor or supervise, train, and develop entry-level professionals and Band 1 employees.
• Develop knowledge and skills necessary for current job requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external stewardship requirements.
• Responsible for leadership and deployment of manufacturing capability & integrated work system methodology to enable the site to deliver its business objectives.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency gains.
• Team Leadership and Development: Manage and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and develop and implement effective solutions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and track progress towards targets.
• Training and Mentoring: Provide training and coaching to employees on IWS principles, tools, and processes, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
• Process Optimization: Implement ongoing evaluation and refinement of processes to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve outcomes.
