JOB POSITION: PLANNED MAINTENANCE PLANNER
• Develop and maintain the maintenance planning system, including schedules, work orders, and job plans for plant equipment and facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with the Engineering & Project Manager and other relevant departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.
• Monitor the execution of planned maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
• Analyze equipment performance data and failure trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Create and manage maintenance plans to address breakdowns and corrective maintenance, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
• Develop contingency plans for critical equipment to reduce downtime during unexpected failures.
• Review and refine corrective maintenance activities by analyzing root causes and implementing long-term solutions to recurring issues.
• Manage the inventory of critical spare parts in coordination with the Spare Parts Custodian, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source maintenance materials and tools as required.
• Update and maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including equipment history, work orders, and inspection reports.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental guidelines.
• Train and support maintenance personnel on planned maintenance processes and systems.
• Participate in and/or initiate root cause analyses for major breakdowns and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and downtime trends.
• Manage and monitor the maintenance and repair (M&R) expense budget by tracking actual costs versus budget, identifying variances, and providing accurate forecasts for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities to ensure cost control and resource optimization.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior from time to time.
