JOB SUMMARY
The Slots Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair on slot machines and DRS system. He/She is also responsible for processing job tickets and requests for firmware upgrading, machine relocation, and new machine installation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain all aspects of superior services for all gaming machines
- Check if the Jackpot Signage LCD, Neon light is working properly
- Perform on-the-spot troubleshooting on the machines such as Bill and Card Jam
- Check, repair and report machines experiencing hard and soft meter failures and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used for repair
- Report any unusual/irregularities on the gaming area as well within the premises of the working area
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used for repair subject to inventory
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the DRS System hardware, Display, card reader and button panel
- Perform repairs on the electronic games, table games, Cage or any related casino operations equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions and run tests on the machines
- Maintain all the gaming machines in operation
- Recognize the fraudulent claims and manipulation of machines and report major problems to the Senior Slot Technician
- Read and interpret Technical manuals
- Assist Senior Technician to maintain liaison with security and surveillance as they relate to the testing and verification of EPROMS and perform gaming checklist
- Ensure that the opening and locking of machine doors and base doors after servicing is done properly
- Process and submit reports as assigned
- Carry out special task or assignment when assigned
