Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Land Documentation Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of land transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and supporting land acquisition and development projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of land documentation processes, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare, review, and manage land-related documents, including deeds, titles, leases, and contracts.
  • Ensure all land documentation complies with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of land transactions and related activities.
  • Coordinate with legal teams, surveyors, and government agencies to facilitate land acquisition and development processes.
  • Conduct due diligence and verify the authenticity of land documents.
  • Assist in resolving land disputes and addressing any issues related to land ownership and usage.
  • Provide support in land valuation and appraisal activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on land documentation and related matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to land documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient land documentation processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in land documentation or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of land documentation processes, legal requirements, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in using document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
