Job Description

Responsible for all docking system and coordination.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in drydocking, painting, cleaning and repairing vessels;
2.2 Analyses vessel’s blueprints and specifications to determine size, shape, and number if keel and bilge blocks required to support vessel.
2.3 Directs dock hand in assembling, positioning, and securing blocks to floating drydock platform, marine railway, or floor of graving dock.
2.4 Sights reference points for positioning vessel over blocks, using transit and directs dock hand in aligning of vessel over blocks.
2.5 Directs workers in pumping operations to raise vessel and in positioning, flooding and pumping caisson (gate) in graving dock.
2.6 Directs workers engaged in cleaning and maintenance of vessel.
2.7 Oversees flooding and removal of vessels from drydock.
2.8 Performs other duties as described as directed by the superior.

Qualifications/Requirements

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
3.1 Education:
 College graduate with degree on ,Engineering or related courses
3.2 Experience:
 At least three (3) years related experience in Purchasing Operations.
3.3 Others:
 Good communication and personal relation skills
 Computer literate
