  • Ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained at all times.
  • Assesses, Plan, Implements, Prepares, Monitor, Adjust and Evaluates nursing care for each patients.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge on how to prepare and prime hemodialysis and hemodiafiltration machines to ensure continued patient treatment, through proper and safe operational dialysis prescription if followed.
  • Prepare and assist doctor with insertion of femoral, jugular and as subclavian catheter.
  • Initiates and terminates dialysis.
  • Demonstrates skills and confidence in cannulation via anteriovenous fistula or graft.
  • Anticipates and identifies actual problems in dialysis in view to solve the problem.
  • Executes Physicians order.
  • Performs aseptic catheter dressing before and after dialysis to prevent infection.
  • Manage Acute and chronic hemodialysis patient in hemodialysis Unit or in Intensive Care Unit or Medical/ Surgical Unit where patient are in variable condition or status unstable to be transported to hemodialysis unit.
  • Evaluate laboratory values and report any abnormal reading for proper treatment and management.
  • Administer, checks, records patient medication and report to doctor if there is any adverse reaction.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Disinfection of machines and general cleaning of surroundings.
  • Undertakes “On Call” duties as required for acute and chronic renal patients.
  • Assess and evaluates educational needs of patients.
  • Keep fully updated on all emergency procedures.
  • Considerate with other health team, dietician, social workers, transplant team for patients highest care.
  • Documents care given and observation of patients accurately in nurses notes.
  • Participates in seminar/ workplace relating to educational planning and training of patients and staff. •
  • Administer hemodialysis not only adult and elderly but also to children.
  • Assist in maintaining stocks in the unit.
  • Manages the holistic needs of group of designed patients including transplant work up.
  • Perform other tasks and duties assigned in the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Other duties that may be assign from time to time by the immediate supervisors.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BS Nursing Graduate
  • Registered Nurse with updated PRC License
  • With at-least 6 months of experience as a Dialysis Nurse
  • Must have an updated ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Compassionate and Hard-working
  • Detail Oriented
  • Self motivated
  • Willing to work at Angeles City
  • Can Start Asap
