Job Description

Performs routine oral prophylaxis.
Conducts flouride treatment procedures, sealants and other preventive measures.
Performs scaling and root plaining for patients with periodontal/gum disease.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing and proper diet.
Accurately charts all observations, diagnosis, treatments done and progress during patient's visits using dental health charts and EHR.
Assist in instruments sterilization and clinic disinfection protocols compliant to infection control standards.
Assist the dentist in examining patient's oral health and recording/updating medical history.
Performs radiographic procedures including periapical xrays, panoramic and CBCT.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education: Two years Certificate in Dental Hygiene
Training: None required
Experience: None required
Eligibility: RA 1080 (Dental Hygienist)
