Job Description

  • Responsible for delivering all orders (for deliveries and demonstration units) to customers.
  • Ensure that the items are safely delivered/received within the given time frame.
  • Report problem/s relative to the assigned company vehicle.
  • Ensure that the updated Driver's License, the Certificate of Registration (CR), and the Official Receipt (OR) of the assigned company vehicle are kept in the vehicle at all times.
  • Responsible for maintaining, cleaning, washing, and taking good care of the assigned company vehicle.
  • Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating the delivery vehicle.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Must be at least a High School Graduate
  • With at least 5 years of experience in operating 4 & 6-wheeler truck
  • Valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction: 1, 2, 3 or A, A2, B, B1, B2, C)
  • Good driving record and good driving skills
  • Physically fit; Can lift heavy equipment
  • Honest, Reliable, and a Team player
  • Follows transportation and safety standards
  • Knowledgeable in vehicle mechanics/basic troubleshooting
  • Familiar with NCR, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao areas; Must also be willing to be assigned for delivery anywhere in the Philippines (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) where SMI operates
  • Willing to render overtime work (rest day/holiday)
  • Amenable to work on-site in our Warehouse located in Mandaluyong City
