The Database Administrator will be in charge in the development of a company's databases to keep vital data available only to users with authorized access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, reliable, and stable infrastructure technologies and security capabilities
  • Scale server infrastructure and database
  • Acts as the secondary point of escalation and resolution for technical support
  • Identify practical alternative solutions and assisting with modifications
  • Provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, and costs vs. benefits

Qualifications/Requirements

What you should have:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge in Windows and Linux
  • Proficient in MySQL or any SQL / Non-SQL Database
  • Knowledgeable in IIS servers, apache and nginx
  • Scripting: BASH, powershell, command line, sql scripts
  • Knowledge in python or other programming languages is a plus
  • Open to be trained to handle cloud servers
  • Must be willing to work in Makati after the pandemic
