JOB SUMMARY
The Slots Assistant is responsible for assisting guests in playing slot machines and payout of prizes. He/She is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all gaming procedures while providing excellent customer service to players.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach new players how to play the slot machine and explain to them the different line and bets buttons, games, free spins, bonus feature, and jackpot level
- Teach players how to properly insert their card in the MDC (Machine Data Controller) and how to transfer credits
- Monitor assigned area and promptly attend to needs of players
- Answer inquiries from players regarding various casino regulations, services, and promotions
- Report or process resets missing/left-over credits, and manual payouts within authorized limit
- Comply with the zoning policy and avoid groupings to ensure that the area is well-attended
- Promptly refer customer complaints or gaming disputes/incidents to immediate superior for resolution
- Report lost and found items to immediate superior and surrender to the security department for proper coordination and handling
- Ensure players enjoy the gaming experience by being polite and attentive to their needs and by creating a friendly and fun atmosphere
- Maintain security of the game and company assets by ensuring players adhere to game rules and reporting any suspicious activity immediately
- Assist in Slots promotional activities and events
- Acquire target number of new members set by Slots Management
- Disseminate information about upcoming and ongoing promotions to players
- Explain benefits of membership card to non-card players and encourage them to apply
- Issue casual card and ensure pertinent details are recorded
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of assigned area
- Ensure all slot machines are functioning properly. Report observed problems to immediate superior for action
- Politely request bystanders/non-playing guests to vacate area to provide better gaming security and experience to players
- Ensure security and confidentiality of all company assets, files, and documents under control
