Job Description

Official Job Title: Global Credit Analyst

Key accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate collection and consolidation of global branch and product group aged debtor information for entry into the pre prepared data input file and produce on time and accurate monthly Global Credit Dashboard.
  • Monitor product group aged debtors to prevent any potential breaches of policy and report and breaches in a timely manner to the board. Follow up with regards to any action required to resolve identified breaches.
  • Manage credit limit reviews received from global credit teams, ensuring adherence to policy, completeness of information and full approval in accordance with the approvals matrix.
  • Attend and be present in the monthly product group credit committee meetings to capture and follow up on any actions for the Global Credit team.
  • Provide guidance and training to credit teams globally to ensure adherence to the Global Credit Policy.
  • Support the Global Credit Operations Manager with any ad-hoc reporting requests as required by the Head of Global Credit and Director, Group Finance.
  • Produce monthly overdue reporting to the Groups external credit insurance underwriters and respond to any requests for further information and updates.
  • Collaborate with credit teams globally to correctly submit any applications for credit limits, whether endorsed or via business case.
  • Provide support to the Global Credit Operations manager with the annual insurance renewals process by identifying customers in scope and collating the updated financial information from credit teams for on time submission to the groups credit insurers.
  • Develop a good knowledge of group systems involved with customer on-boarding and other credit management operations and processes.
  • Assist the Global Credit Operations Manager to identify and submit any bad debt claims with the group’s insurance underwriters.
  • Support the Global Credit Operations Manager to ensure the Global Credit Connect page is constantly updated with latest supporting and guidance materials for the use of credit teams and wider business stakeholders globally.

Qualifications/Requirements

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
We are looking for candidates with:
  • At least 1 year experience in Credit Management or Accounting
  • Experience using SAP & Microsoft Power BI would be beneficial but is not essential
  • A naturally analytical and logical mindset, who is methodical and organized
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • An excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of working under pressure, to deadlines and changing priorities
