  • Monitors and manages project costs, ensuring they remain within budget throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Working with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project execution.
  • Monitoring project schedules and milestones, and ensuring timely completion of work.
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets, estimating costs for various tasks, and comparing actual costs against the budget.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering. Licensed is an advantage.
  • Experience as Cost Engineer/ Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experienced in cost estimation, budgeting, and control for large-scale infrastructure or energy project, preferably in WTE or similar industries.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet or database tools.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Understanding of contract types and cost structure, including lump sum, unit price and cost-plus contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills for cost analysis, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and codes such as FIDIC (YELLOW/RED)
