A construction laborer performs a wide variety of physical tasks on construction sites, contributing to the completion of building, remodeling, and infrastructure projects. Laborers work under the supervision of foremen, site supervisors, or project managers to ensure the site is prepared, materials are handled correctly, and tasks are executed efficiently.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques (training often provided on the job).
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in construction or related fields.
  • Knowledge of specific trade skills, such as carpentry, masonry, or concrete work.
