1. Follows the guidelines in giving emergency care to all employees, provides basic healthcare/first aid to all employees and administers the prescribed medications and treatment to employees who are injured, sick, or those who experience illnesses in the workplace.
2. Implements Occupational Safety and Health policy and procedures in raising health awareness to all employees and ensures the workers’ safety and health plan is adequate.
3. Coordinates the health safety training programs of DOLE with the management.
4. Reports and documents every employee’s injury and illness within the workplace.
5. Ensures the proper monitoring of employees through the OSH Daily Health Checklist, DOLE Employee Checklist and Visitors Checklist, PPE Report.
6. Responsible for issuance of medical referral slips to workers who will report for work and conducts medical health history information interview before issuance of referral slips for medical.
7. Ensures that employees reporting for work have a “fit to work certificate” and coordinates to HR Staff and upper management who are fit and not fit to work.
8. Checks visitors entering inside the production and ensure the visitors log form and visitors health form is completely filled up with signature.
9. Creates an overall summary of medical result of staff and workers every crop end season.
10. Ensures the confidentiality of medical results.
