JOB DESCRIPTION:Health Care Management • Provides initial treatment services to medical concerns of TIIC employees
• Provides initial emergency care to employees injured at work prior to transfer to a hospital or the arrival of professional emergency medical services.
• Assists company physicians in the conduct of health assessment and curative procedures to employees
• Establishes sustainable systems to monitor and document the health status of all employees.
• Conducts assessment of the occupational health hazards in the workplace and provides possible interventions.
• Establishes and implements effective operational systems of respective Clinic facilities including among others Medical Records Management, Clinic Equipment Maintenance, Medicine and other Medical Consumable Inventory Management etc.
• Provides trainings/ information awareness to employees and as required other TIIC stakeholders (e.g. Canteen personnel) on the company’s Occupational Health policies and programs as well as other medical-related topics.
• Develops and implements relevant policies and guidelines on government-mandated Occupational Health programs such as but not limited to HIV/ Aids Program, PTB Mgt., Hepatitis B Mgt., Drug-Free Workplace Program as well as other disease prevention and wellness programs relevant to the existing hazards brought about by respective facility operations.
Legal Compliance • Responsible for ensuring TIIC’s compliance to Philippine Occupational Health Laws and Regulations, TIIC Occupational Health policies and other related industry standards / best management practices.
• Ensures TIIC’s compliance to regulatory requirements set by DOH and other government agencies relevant to Occupational Health.
• Serve as TIIC’s liaison to DOH and other relevant government agencies, LGUs, NGOs and other stakeholder entities in matters related to Occupational Health.
• Supports the OHS Officer in the conduct of workplace injury incident investigations and helps in identifying appropriate mitigations.
• Supports the OHS Officer in the conduct of periodic inspections/ audits to ensure sustainability of OHS programs.
• Keeps abreast with new or revised Occupational Health regulations and latest available technologies/ research relating to Occupational Health.
• Supports the Safety Officer (SO) in ensuring TIIC’s compliance to local and international Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
