1. Provides nursing service and first aid to employees who become ill or injured on the premises of industrial plant.
2. Take patients vital signs, treat wounds, evaluate physical condition of patient, contact physician and hospital to arrange for further medical treatment, when needed.
3. Maintain record of person treated, and prepare accident reports and insurance form
4. In charge of the annual scheduling of medical examinations of regular employees and assist physician in physical examination of new employees.
5. Develops, implement and monitor employee programs not limited to health education, accident prevention, alcohol abuse counseling, curtailment of smoking, weight control regimens and epidemic/pandemic prevention program
6. Accomplished health related reports and submit to concern recipients base on set frequency or as necessary
7. Accomplish the Annual Reportorial as requirements of government agencies regarding Health & Safety of employees.
8. Provide medical referral for pre-employment and for consultation to prescribed hospital/clinic.
9. See to it that all newly hired employees passed the medical examinations before they are accepted for work. Filing of medical records of all employees. Conduct Orientation Newly hired workers)
10. Prepare sickness notification /EC accident report whenever somebody files a leave for a minimum of 4 days of absent and submit the same to SSS and follow-up the progress.
11. SSS benefits claims and reimbursement and other SSS related matters.
12. Prepare Purchase Requisition for health related items subject for purchase.
15. Prepare budget application and or requisition for medical related expenses that subject for approval
16. Coordinates with the Health Care Provider for the enrollment, renewal and termination of employee’s health services benefits
