Job Description

Primarily responsible for providing initial medical assistance to all employees with any medical concerns. Closely monitors health and safety concerns of all employees. Provide support to basic human resource functions, such as documentation and monitoring of employee attendance and leave benefits.

Responsibilities
-Provide first aid treatment and proper medications to employees, as needed, and address all employees’ medical concerns.
-Closely observe and properly record the symptoms and any medical issues/conditions of the employee, and maintain medical and other related records of all employees.
-In case of accidents, accompany the injured employee to the nearest hospital.
-Secure and ensure that employees who returned to work from sickness submit medical certificates and/or ‘fit to work’ certificates, as the case may be.
-Review all diagnostic test results and medical certificates, and verify the results and/or certificates with the healthcare provider, as the case may be.
-Assist in the annual physical examinations for all employees.
-Closely monitor the inventory of medicines and other necessary medical supplies from time to time, and ensure its availability to all employees, if needed.
-Prepare and submit monthly inventory reports of medicines and other necessary medical supplies, and recommend stock leveling to ensure its availability.
-Submit monthly illness or accident reports and recommend preventive programs.
-Conduct health and safety orientation to all newly hired employees, monthly health and safety awareness orientation/refresher to all employees, and cascading advisories as part of awareness campaign.
-Act as the company’s Safety Officer, and check and recommend solutions and innovations related to health and safety issues and/or concerns.
-Timely encode employee’s medical data to electronic medical records (EMR), and maintain proper and accurate documentation, report generation, and analysis of employee healthcare data.
-Conduct study and analysis on health and safety related matters, and recommend quality improvement initiatives.
-Provide support in the documentation of employee attendance and monitoring of leave benefits.
Timely and accurately process government-mandated benefits of all employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications
-Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse (PRC).
-With related experience of at least one (1) year, preferably, in a corporate setting.
-Preferably, with OSH/BOSH Certificate.
-Has a high sense of perseverance and dedication to do the job.
-Has good communication and interpersonal skills
-Has a good sense of confidentiality.
-Has basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
