What you'll do:
You will be responsible for providing basic healthcare services to the company's employees. This role includes administering first aid, conducting health assessments, promoting health and wellness programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards set by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Health Services Provision
- • Administer first aid and emergency care to employees in case of accidents or sudden illness.
- • Conduct routine health checks and monitor employee health status.
- • Maintain and update health records and reports.
- Health Education and Promotion
- • Develop and implement health and wellness programs.
- • Educate employees on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and workplace safety.
- • Organize health seminars, workshops, and vaccination programs.
Regulatory Compliance
- • Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations and occupational health and safety standards.
- • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections.
- • Prepare and submit required reports to DOLE and other relevant authorities.
- Workplace Health and Safety
- • Collaborate with the safety officer to develop and implement workplace safety policies.
- • Participate in the investigation of workplace accidents and recommend preventive measures.
- • Provide health and safety training to employees.
Medical Liaison
- • Coordinate with external healthcare providers and hospitals for employee referrals.
- • Assist in managing health insurance claims and medical benefits.
- Administrative Duties
- • Maintain an inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- • Manage the company clinic, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and operational.
- • Handle confidential employee health information with discretion and professionalism.
